Ellen is a professional geologist with nearly 20 years of experience, who provides a range of environmental consulting services, including site investigation and remediation, regulatory compliance, and climate change management. Specifically, she has supported hazardous waste assessments and remediation for sites including Department of Defense facilities; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) sites; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites; and underground storage tank (UST) sites. For these projects she manages project start-up and planning, client interface, field supervision of environmental investigations, and technical reporting. For First Environment’s greenhouse gas (GHG) services group, Ellen manages emission inventory and offset project verification and technical assistance contracts for industries including oil and gas, power generation, mining and metals, transportation, waste management, manufacturing, and more. In support of our regulatory compliance service area, she also serves as a lead auditor of environmental management systems and multimedia compliance assessments. Additional technical experience includes certification as an Erosion and Sediment Control Level II Design Professional in Georgia (under GASWCC).
