We have a multidisciplinary workforce comprised of attorneys, scientists, geologists, MBAs, engineers, economists, policy strategists, and management system experts. Since First Environment supports a variety of projects spanning diverse industries and service areas, we look for professionals with diverse skills and experience. Continuing Education

First Environment highly values training, education, and professional development. Senior management and other members of the firm identify formal training opportunities for individuals, as well as for the firm as a whole. The company also invests in memberships for industry associations and professional organizations, including continuing education hours required for professional registrations. Additionally, employees are encouraged to submit requests to attend formal training programs relevant to their positions. Employees may also participate in our tuition reimbursement program, which allows them to further their education and work towards business degrees or other advanced technical degrees. We work with employees to support flexible schedules in order to accommodate class times, as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation is competitive and considers experience, training, billing rate, and business development. When establishing compensation ranges, we benchmark comparable firms, cost of living indexes, and recruitment statistics.

In addition, First Environment offers medical and dental insurance for employees and their families. The plan includes wellness benefits, such as discounts on chiropractic care. Internships

First Environment offers internships for college and graduate-level students. Each year, we identify several projects across a variety of disciplines for which we seek intern assistance. Interested students should submit their resumes to the Human Resources Manager for consideration.
