Ed is a professional geologist with more than 35 years of environmental consulting experience at a variety of sites requiring hazardous waste assessments and remediation, including Department of Defense facilities; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) sites; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites; and underground storage tank (UST) sites. For these projects he manages project start-up and planning, client interface, field supervision of environmental investigations, and technical reporting. His field experience includes supervision of soil boring, monitoring well, aquifer air sparging well, horizontal injection well, and soil vapor extraction well installations; aquifer characterization tests; and groundwater sampling. Ed frequently prepares hydrogeologic investigation reports for UST, metals, and hazardous waste sites, as well as corrective action plans and feasibility studies. He also has extensive construction oversight experience, including bioremediation, chemical oxidation, high vacuum-dual phase extraction, and pump/treat systems. He has performed more than 300 environmental studies for private and public sector clients in New Jersey, New York, and across the southeastern U.S.
