Pakarat is an environmental engineer who brings more than nine years of diverse international experience, including construction and development expertise, in the areas of water, wastewater, renewable energy, and LEED. Her expertise includes monitoring, reporting, and verification of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects; assessment of carbon footprints; greenhouse gas emission reductions for projects involving biogas technologies; and design of wastewater collection, stormwater drainage, water supply, and irrigation management systems. At First Environment, Pakarat is a technical lead in the areas of life cycle assessment (LCA) and ISO 14040/14044/14067 peer reviews, carbon intensity (CI) studies utilizing the California and EPA/Argonne GREET model, GHG inventories, engineering reviews regarding greenhouse gas (GHG) consulting, circular economy, and low-carbon fuels.
