Meet Carrie Ross, Newest Addition to our Regulatory Compliance & Litigation Support Groups

Meet the latest addition to the First Environment team, Carrie Ross. Carrie is an environmental consulting professional with more than 25 years of experience in environmental risk management for industrial, military, and public entities. She has an extensive background in environmental litigation and mediation support, compliance, and remediation projects. Her expertise includes liability investigations and preparation of technical deliverables, including expert reports and position papers. Carrie also has technical expertise in contaminant source, chemistry and data, and fate and transport evaluations with a focus on assessing historical site processes and the specific associations of such with contaminants in the environment. She has also been involved on liability investigations related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination. In addition, Carrie has managed compliance projects and programs in association with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the U.S. Army Reserve Command, including hazardous materials and waste management, environmental site assessments, health and safety, personnel training, permitting, stormwater pollution prevention, and cultural resources management.

Carrie received a Master’s in Biotechnology from Kean University/Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire. She will be supporting and managing projects under First Environment’s federal government and regulatory compliance practice areas, as well as our litigation support and PFAS consulting services.
