Poblete Henry

Henry is a recent graduate from Rutgers University-New Brunswick with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. Throughout his undergraduate years, he gained experience in several areas across the environmental sector through research, government regulation, and educational outreach to general audiences. His initial studies in atmospheric chemistry and air pollution conducted at an immersive summer research program propelled him to develop deeper exposure in additional areas of interest, specifically flood risk management and water quality in drinking water systems. Additionally, Henry presented his expertise to showcase sustainable initiatives across the university, as well as participating in federal advocacy in Washington, D.C. for the support of environmental science funding. His relevant skills and knowledge were later applied to his senior design team project that focused on the modernization of stormwater management in neighborhoods at risk through green infrastructure practices. As a result of his college career, Henry’s extensive involvement allowed him to develop proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MATLAB, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other environmental analysis tools.
