Dan is an environmental specialist with a specialization in marine science. While earning his undergraduate degree in marine biology, he took part in field studies related to salt marsh dynamics, fish assessments, and shellfish conservation. After graduation, he completed a GIS Certificate Program from Michigan State University, which included applications of geospatial technology and geographic information systems, principles of cartography, remotely sensed imagery interpretation, and spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro.
